Concept: Visual electronic health record application that tracks progress of health. In addition to the visual 3D component of the design, the application was to track real time overall wellness in relationship to lifestyle. Diet, exercise – syncing to Fitbit or Apple watch, medications and social time. The 3D concept was taken from Microsoft Garage Project Innereye Eye. An artificial intelligence tool that uses machine learning and computer vision to allow radiologists to make cancer treatment more targeted and effective. Case Example: Visual ability to monitor Multiple Sclerosis lesions on brain and spinal cord in […]

This was my first design. Rich Soil Bank. The concept was a retail bank that operated on the basis of functions instead of rights. The design framework was biomimicry. Could a bank operate on the cellular level that life does? 2011 – 2014. I got a few things right and a lot of things I didn’t. And that’s okay. What I learned from this personal project was project management. That as a designer you have to consider business model and engineering constraints. […]
Concept: Wealth Bar This was a concept I came up with in 2011 when staying at Hotel Andez near Wall Street. It’s call Wealth Bar. The concept was taken from Apple’s Genius Bar where the company emulates Jobs’ passion for putting customers first. “And the more time customers spend in the branches, with the bankers in an “advisory role,” the more likely customers are to sign up for additional banking products (rolling over their IRA’s and 401K’s for example). Which doesn’t […]
Website for streamlining processes. The company I worked for at the time had no computer or internet in the office before I join the company. As I slowly changed things (remodeled the office and set up a computer) I later inquired with management about bringing other people onboard to let me focus on big picture items. Transfer work from the CEO to me. I also approached management about having an online presence for recruiting and efficiency. Out of the phone calls made […]
Concept: Bare’ is biomimetic bra. Different than biometrics as you’re not collecting data. The design should mimic the underlying antagonistic muscle structure for a better support and movement as the breasts sit on top of the muscle and move in a figure-8 motion. Process: Ideation. The goal I’m shooting for is a supportive second skin. If the breast sits on top of the pectoral muscle how might we create a design that’s supportive of the breast while also acknowledging the muscle underneath? […]
Gentleman’s Emoji Set I like the idea of Kimoji’s (animated emojis that move) but have yet to find one that I would use. I wanted something more refined- poised and subtle yet distinctive and sure. I often send mono answers to friends; ‘yes’, ‘no’, ‘?’. I would buy a emoji set like this. *Adjusts neck tie* I’m sure.

“The big premise is that there are duplicate eyes” – I Origins, director Mike Cahill Blink is an iris matching app that collects medical data through gamification. What if someone’s iris matches or shows similarities to mine? Does that mean we interpret light the same way, have the same preferences, tendencies and tastes? Think of it like a game or horoscope app, but instead of using birthdays you’re matching characters using the human iris and light. Or information, meta data and the world in my eyes. […]
